Clever Fruit and Veg
We recently went to a Thai Festival here in Surrey and although I spent much of my time eating lovely Thai food and browsing the stalls (next post!!!) I did manage to stop and smell the roses - well - look at some vegetables - but wow - they were real show stoppers!!!
How clever is this chap? I had a really wonderful chat with him - he explained how he now creates many centre pieces for weddings!
This lady was just amazing. Imagine doing this with a melon?
Or this for Halloween!
Think I better practice my carving skills.

Amazing! There were displays like this on our cruise - they were demonstrating & of course they made it look so easy.

They are truly amazing aren't they! Suzie. x
ReplyDeletewow, amazing. Can't beleive that people do this with fruit and veg - such a shame that after all the hard work and time they put in that the carving won't last forever!! or can they be preserved?? xxx
ReplyDeletethat is crazy, I also thought the first pic was flowers, it reminded me of those plastic type one grannies had in the bathroom!, what a tlaent they have, right it's off to the kitchen to carve a turnip! hehe
ReplyDeleteThat is just amazing, and at the same time the mind boggles at having that much time and concentration.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd jump a mile high if I came home to that pumpkin on our path. Too too scary. Amazing what people can do with veg though.
