How cute are the illustrations in this book?!!! I bought 4 adorable books for 99p on ebay - I felt guilty at the price, but gave super nice feedback! My children are going through a "can we have a dog, goat, chicken, rabbit, donkey, elephant?" stage. This hasn't been helped by the fact that we have just had an offer accepted (long way to go yet) on a cottage that has donkey stables and a field. This prospect has sent them into meltdown and they are already naming their ponies. The idea is complete fantasy, but I have to admit, I look at these pictures and get quite tempted myself! (then I remember the no money aspect and remind myself that with animals comes animal ****)
(she shouldn't do that, they can break a man's arm you know)
