Vintage Wallpaper - and what to do with it???

Now I know what my husband would tell me to do with it! It reminds me of Holly Hobby. But what about you? Two rolls from Car boot for £1 - but like my Grandma used to say, "Only a bargain if you use it." I am putting together a BIG stash for a GREAT BIG GIVE-AWAY - perhaps someone could do something with a roll? Maybe? I'm thinking of buying one of those binder thingies, as I'd really like to make some note books, has anybody used them or has any advice? Oh and if anyone else is clued up on copyright laws........heeellllppp meee please. Have great weekend you lovely lot! TTFN xxx

  1. Oh it so reminds me of when I was little ... maybe drawer liners? Cover a box or a photo album? Frame part of the pattern?

Line a wooden tray? Xerox and make wrapping paper? Book cover?

    OK I'll stop now .. :)

  3. Groovy! The girl with the puppy is too cute. Possiblities are endless!

Copyright laws: I have a slight understanding. Once an image is a certain age, then it's public domain. This paper might not be old enough. I'd do some googling. ♥

  4. Hi Fleur, thanks for the ideas for my 4 seasons pictures. Regarding copyright, the law is different depending on your country. For the UK a good site is www.copyrightservice.co.uk but basically something's in the public domain 70 complete calendar years after the author/illustrator dies. The US is more complicated - if you'd like to know more about their law I know a good site, just let me know. Best wishes Helen.

  6. I think that the pretty Vintage wallpaper, is much in keeping with your beautiful hand-made treasures... So I would probaly use it for packing!
I think your costumer would like that!
    Or maybe decoupage?
    I L.O.V.E IT! IT`S VERY KITCH LOOKING!

  7. To be honest, copyright is pretty much useless for ordinary folk and is only as good as the person upholding it. For example, if a big corporation disputes copyright than they have millions to take someone to court. However, if someone used your images would you do the same?

  8. Hi Fleur!
I'm always intrigued to read your ironic comments on other blogs!
    What about another cupboard?
    Enjoy your weekend!

  9. What cute paper!

I have various rolls of wallpaper that I've picked up at boot sales that I'm planning to use as draw liners and things but this is far to pretty to be hidden away!
